The town of Đurđevac is located in the Podravina plain, between two natural-geographic entities; between the northern slopes of Bilogora and the river Drava. In Podravska

Hotel Picok. The hotel got its interesting name from the Legend of the Picoks, an event from the 16th century, more precisely in 1552, when the ingenuity and courage of the people of Đurđevića in
the long-term fight against the Turkish bully Ulama-beg paid off because they fired a rooster at them from a cannon. It happened on the site of the Old Town, which is
created in the middle of a swamp on a high sand mound, right near the hotel, which radiates Podravina from the moment you enter. That event is still alive today because it is already 40
year at the end of June is staged as part of the event “Picokijada”, and the people of Đurđev have been called “Picokima” for centuries.
The accommodation capacity is 200 beds, i.e. 74 double rooms, 4 apartments and two specially designed rooms for people with disabilities.
