The elegant boutique hotel Villa Astra is the work of architect Renato Renosco and builder Attili Maguolo. It is a perfect example of Venetian Gothic from the beginning of the 20th century, and was built in the period from 1903 to 1905.
The nostalgic villa is located in a quiet location on the Opatija Riviera, outside the center of Lovran, and is separated from the famous Lungomare coastal promenade by a swimming pool and a garden with medicinal plants. The villa has eight spacious, elegantly decorated rooms, each of which is unique in its color and fabric harmony. The villa has a unique atmosphere, and each of its closed and open parts radiates a feeling of intimate atmosphere and joy. Villa owner Vjeko Martinko and his team offer the guests of this boutique hotel a unique experience of union with nature, and their motto is: “Life is a journey, and your journey is our life”.
