Dugi Otok is the meeting of man, nature and interesting historical monuments. The puddles on the island are suprising for their water gathers in such a manner similar to an antique theater, and every village on Dugi Otok has some. Do not be suprised if while walking you come upon remains from the paleolithic period remains of stone graves, from Illiryan period stone graves, or from the Roman period Villa Rustica on Mala Proversa. While looking through an olive grove a couple of hundreds years old you may come upon remains of a church from the Middle Ages, the 10 th and 11 th century of St. John and St. Victor in the Nature Park of Telašæica. Sali is the largest village on Dugi Otok. It is very attractive with its rich cultural tradition. The tourist resorts as well as the closeness of the Kornati and the Nature Park of Telašæica make it an exquiste Mediterranean spot where ideness becomes an enjoyment.
