Stara Novalja is situated in a few-kilometer long bay, protected against south and north winds, exposed to sunshine. It is surrounded by Mediterranean plant cover. This is the most tranquil angle of the longest island in the Croatian Littoral which offers, besides a repose and accommodation in private apartments and rooms, also good entertainment, sport and dancing. Enchanting submarine world, by its stillness invites the most audacious and daring persons to get acquainted with its azure depths, flora and fauna. Yachting fans will be attracted with boons of summer landward breeze on which wings they will be sent to the exploration of numerous coves and bays. A challenge for one’s palate will be found and satisfied by the most squeamish gourmands. Far and wide known cheese, prosciuto ham of Pag as well as the seafood and, above all famous island’s lamb, together with a good wine is an offer which nobody can resist.
