Welcome to the Web pages of the Tourist Association of the Municipality of Višnjan! Višnjan is situated in the Western part of Istria, in the region of Porec, at an altitude of 244 m above sea level. This is the area between the river Mirna in the North and the Lim Canal in the South. A 12 km long regional road links it to Porec, and it is only 3 km away from the main road Pula – Trieste. Construction of the Western section of the «Istrian Ipsylon» road was completed in 2005, 1.5 km to the West of the town, which provided it with better accessibility. It is here in Višnjan that you can feel the spirit of rich historical inheritance, taste the quality domestic produce of the local manufacturers and enjoy observing the stars!
