When you travel along the Podravina Highway you will probably never notice the direction boards leading you to Ferdinandovac, a district centre, 10 km far from the Podravina Highway northwards resp. north-eastwards, towards the Drava River and the state border. Ferdinandovac is a gentle village in Podravina, but also the centre of the district, in the north-eastern parts of the Koprivnièko-Križevaèka County, surrounded by cultivated, fertile and rich fields, which are surrounded by thick oak-tree forests on the one side and by picturesque willow-groves and the Drava River on the other side.
