Every apartment is part of a Croatian holiday villa that dates back to the beginning of 20th century and was built by the wealthy family Stjepovic. The villa itself is located on the site of an old Roman settlement. A range of objects including coins, fragments of ceramic, sarcophaguses and even an old Christian baptistery were excavated around the house and many of them are exhibited now at the lapidary of St. Jerome monastery which is open for visitors.
